Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her roles as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz at a young age. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring the divas. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. A few of them include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being a jury member at two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
