Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her professional career in the show business at an early age. When she turned 16years old, Alexandra was able to land leading roles in several television dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also highly praised. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several notable international and national projects. These projects included British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
