Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director, best known as the star of Birdman. Michael Keaton plays an actor that has a wide range of skills. In addition to playing the roles of a romantic, he has also starred in action films and thrillers. He began to take an interest in acting and performing when the age of his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy when he was an adult. Although his comedy career did not succeed however, it served as the basis for his future acting career. Because he could not to succeed as acting, he chose to work as a TV cameraman. As a television station discovered he wanted to work in front of a camera. The TV role was agreed to and he appeared on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. There was no doubt that the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known TV actor. His comedic characters made him famous and he embarked upon the career of a filmmaker with high ambitions. The accolades grew as he played Batman's own hero from Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability developed and he was able to explore production and directing. For his role in Birdman (2014) the actor received numerous awards and nominations.
