Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is a famous American actress best well-known for her character Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. The series earned her six Emmy nominations for the best acting support and critical acclaim. Since her time in the industry, which has spanned over 20 years, she's gained recognition for her roles on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. The actress is well known for her performance in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey at Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. She has also provided her voice for animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Her career began as a fashion model, and worked in the field for a number of years prior to making her television debut with Undressed. Her first substantial role came in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her part in the hit show Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her with the title of sexiest as well as best-looking American woman for the year 2010 as part of their annual survey.
